Response on the Draft of the new EMIR Reporting Guidelines

DK participated in the consultation on ESMA guidelines for EMIR reporting requirements. EMIR Refit aims to align the reporting standards with international standards and to harmonize with SFTR reporting. The aim is to increase the data quality of the reported data. For this purpose, tightened reconciliation obligations will be introduced in addition to the introduction of the ISO 20022 standard. The consultation was carried out by ESMA with reservations, as the underlying implementing regulations are not yet available. DK advocates that the guidlines of the new reporting standards must be formulated as clearly, simply and without contradictions as possible.
