Capital market

A deeper, more integrated European capital market with unified rules is essential for a healthy, dynamic and therefore competitive economy. An integrated market will allow businesses access to long-term capital that is vital for growth, innovation and financing for new projects. Capital markets offer investors a variety of investment options that offer returns while also spreading risk. The result is a better distribution of capital that is accessible to different sectors and regions, improving economic stability over the long term. In order to achieve this, we must be uncompromising in realising the European capital markets union.
